Hi! I'm glad you stopped by this page to learn more about my family and me. I grew up in McPherson, KS but both of my parents are from Salina.  I graduated from McPherson College in the spring of 1997 and began teaching that fall at St. Joseph Catholic School in McPherson. There I taught 5th & 6th grade combination classroom in the afternoons. In the mornings I taught PreK-6 Physical Education as well as 3rd-6th Technology. In August of 2001, I began teaching at St. Mary's.  This year will be my 16th year of teaching, and my 12th year at St. Mary's. I still live in McPherson, and am a member of St. Joseph's Parish. I love teaching at St. Mary's don't mind the daily commute, except for those days when it is icy! I enjoy spending time with my family when I'm not teaching and helping serve on our local swim club board. I also love scrapbooking, crafting, & desktop publishing.

Kerry and I have been married for 18 years. He grew up around the Marquette area and moved to McPherson when he was in high school. Kerry was in the Army Reserves and spent some time in Iraq & Kuwait during the Persian Gulf War. He is also a private pilot, and enjoys taking us up for a flight. For the past 20 or more years, Kerry has worked in the computer industry.  He's been at PizzaCo. for the past 7 years as their IT manager. 

Lenae turned 12 this past April. Among many things she enjoys hanging out with her friends, having sleepovers, listening to music, playing games & texting on her iPod, and competitive swimming. Lenae is in 7th grade and is attending McPherson Middle School this year.  Most of her free time during the school year is spent on homework, with friends or at swim team practice.  As always, we are looking forward to watching her swim this year & being part of the swim club! Go AquaPups!

Ryan turned 8 in July. He loves anything that has to do with Star Wars!  Ryan loves to play outside, run with the neighborhood kids, ride his bicycle and scooter, help me around the house, play the Wii and his iPod and probably best of all...bug his sister! He is our entertainer, and loves to make people laugh. Ryan plays for the McPherson Strikers Soccer team during the fall and spring, swims on the Aquapups swim team and plays baseball during the summer on our local rec league. Ryan is in 3rd grade this year and is so excited that school has begun!

This is our furry four-legged boy, Casper. He's a 6 year old Bichon Friese. He loves to play fetch and run around in the backyard. He's a "mama's dog" and loves to be in my lap, if it's open.  He enjoys playing with Holly, however doesn't have near the energy to keep up with her - although he tries quite hard!
