Extra Credit is given to the entire class once every nine weeks, not on an individual basis. Students should watch for the extra credit opportunity and take advantage of it!
Don't forget about the online bonus point opportunity, Where in the world is Mrs. Gillis! |
|
Students are given one extra day to turn in work for each day gone. If a student received their homework prior to being gone, it is due when they return.
Students are responsible for making sure all work from any absence is caught up.
Extended absences may be handled differently. |

Tests are given over the information covered in each chapter. Each test is approximately 20 questions. 15 questions over vocabulary and comprehension, and 5 skill lesson questions. Each test will be entered into the gradebook as 100 points possible, and the percentage correct will be the points earned. The point value of all other assignments will be determined by the number of questions on the assignment. Most assignments are worth 5-15 points. This makes preparing for a test very important! |
